About these terms

These terms govern your use of the APEX VAULT website and any enquiry you submit through it. Individual transactions are governed by separate written terms provided before a purchase or sale is completed.

Our role

An independent UK luxury watch brokerage and dealer. Depending on the transaction, APEX VAULT may act as principal buyer or seller, as a disclosed broker or intermediary, or as an adviser.

Some watches are acquired directly by APEX VAULT, while others are sourced from, or sold on behalf of, third-party owners. The arrangement, the contracting parties, any fees and the relevant terms are explained before you commit.

Enquiries and availability

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract of sale and does not reserve a watch. Availability varies according to reference, condition, provenance, documentation and market availability.

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no watch is listed for public sale.

Payment

Where appropriate and confirmed for the specific transaction, APEX VAULT can arrange an Escrow.com transaction so funds are held by the independent escrow provider and released in line with the agreed terms.

APEX VAULT does not accept physical cash. Payment arrangements are agreed in advance and may include bank transfer or independent escrow.

Fees and remuneration

APEX VAULT may receive remuneration from one or both parties in a transaction. Any such remuneration, and who pays it, is disclosed and agreed in writing before the transaction proceeds.

Assessment and inspection

A watch is considered using the piece itself, the available documentation and specialist information. The precise process depends on the individual watch and the agreed transaction. APEX VAULT does not operate an automated valuation service.

Delivery

Delivery arrangements are agreed for each acquisition. Insured delivery may be arranged where suitable cover is available and confirmed for the specific watch, value, route and carrier.

Warranty and service

Any warranty, guarantee or service commitment is identified in the applicable transaction terms. Manufacturer warranties, seller warranties and APEX VAULT commitments are separate and must not be treated as interchangeable.

Cancellation and remedies

Cancellation, returns and remedies depend on the transaction type, contracting seller, method of purchase and applicable law. The relevant terms are provided before a purchase is completed. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, APEX VAULT is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.

Intellectual property

Brand names and trade marks referred to on this website belong to their respective owners. Their use is descriptive only and does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by or authorisation from those brands.
